Diatoms are over 30 million years old and are formed from the cementation of microscopic algae-like plant remains into the earth’s surface. Turmeric can stain the skin and a very small percentage experience an allergic reaction. Do a patch test by applying a dime-size amount to your forearm. Then wait 24–48 hours to check for any reaction before applying turmeric to your face. If face seems a little yellow apply oil on a cloth a wipe your face, then comes right off:)
